Particularities
- Unlike modern production methods, where the upholstery has a zip on the back, we use a traditional approach. We hand-sew the upholstery closed at the back, resulting in a beautifully flowing end result.
- Pierre Paulin was able to create his first designs in collaboration with Thonet, such as the CM 137, the forerunner of the F157-Oyster. After this, he started working as a designer for Artifort, where he built on the techniques he had used in the CM 137.
- Artifort emerged from the Maastricht furniture upholstery firm 'Wagenmans & van Tuinen'

Naast Kvadrat-stoffen (zoals op de foto's) werken we met een breed assortiment stoffen. We adviseren over welke stof het beste past bij de vorm en het gebruik van de stoel.
Ja. We bouwen het schuim laag voor laag opnieuw op volgens de originele constructie en naaien de bekleding met de hand dicht, net als bij de oorspronkelijke productiemethode.
